Posted on: Monday, 20 March 2006, 12:00 CST

iWay Software, an Information Builders company and an innovator of enterprise integration solutions, today announced the company has continued to expand its strategic relationship with Microsoft by providing application integration capabilities for the latest edition of Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006. With more than 300 adapters, the iWay Universal Adapter Suite - a component of iWay SOA Middleware- will provide users of Microsoft BizTalk 2006 with the ability to take advantage of existing integration capabilities and transform their information technology (IT) infrastructure into an open, flexible environment more closely aligned with critical business requirements.

As business operations become more complex, organizations are struggling to implement scalable, cost-effective methods to automate and manage intricate business processes. By building and maintaining IT systems that can address the nuances of global business in an efficient and effective manner, iWay Software and Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 can simplify the management of business processes, enabling organizations to spend more time adding value and growing their business.

"Microsoft and iWay Software have been working together to deliver innovative integration solutions for the world's most complex business environments for more than five years," said Robert Bannerman, Partner Strategy Manager at Microsoft. "By focusing on reducing complexity in the enterprise, users can automate core business processes and integrate disparate systems, employees, and trading partners faster than ever before, resulting in streamlined operations and reduced costs."

The 300-plus adapter iWay Universal Adapter Suite supports many interoperability initiatives and other associated Microsoft products including all current versions of Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Windows Communication Foundation (previously code-named "Indigo").

"iWay Software and Microsoft share a common vision for simplifying application integration in order to help organizations maximize their business benefit," said John Senor, President of iWay Software. "Our iWay Universal Adapter Suite and its adapters lend cost-effective scalable technology to organizations of all sizes, creating one of the most comprehensive integration solutions currently available. Our adapters allow customers to reach more systems with less custom code reducing resources while increasing business agility."
