RMD Entertainment Inks Global Distribution Deal With DVD Magazine Pioneer -- Block Star Entertainment

RMD Entertainment Group (OTC: RMDG) announced a deal earlier today with Bay Area-based Block Star Entertainment that adds yet another dimension to their already extensive body of hip-hop driven content. Block Star Entertainment is best known for their groundbreaking development of a DVD magazine called The Bay Area Block Stars -- which gives the viewer a never before seen look at the underground hip-hop scene in the Bay Area and beyond. With interviews, studio sessions, and raw footage, Block Stars' DVD magazine uncovers face-to-face wisdom from hip-hop greats like Mobb Deep, Snoop, Crooked I, Cold Crush Brothers, Slum Village, T.I. and Grand Master Flash, to name a few.

The three-year deal not only gives RMD the exclusive right to globally market and distribute all Block Star related content and merchandise, but it also states that RMD has the right to license any and all Block Star related projects for use in other arenas like film, television, internet, and mobile. Bringing this type of cutting-edge material to the consumer and making it available is another example of how RMD Entertainment is developing new revenue streams while delivering a superior product to the consumer.

Costonis later explained that the DVD magazine would be distributed in traditional formats by The Pickwick Group in Europe and Bungalo Records which is exclusively distributed by Universal Music and DVD distribution in North America.
