Finisar Bolsters Network Tools Division Management Team

Finisar Corporation (NASDAQ: FNSR), a leading provider of fiber optic subsystems and network performance solutions, announced today two key additions to the executive management team of their Network Tools Division.
Joining Finisar Network Tools is Dr. Brian Staff as vice president of marketing, and Dan Lefelstein as vice president of worldwide sales.
Dr. Staff brings to Finisar Network Tools more than 20 years of business experience in the sales and marketing of enterprise software and hardware. Dr. Staff, who possesses extensive international experience, previously held a marketing executive position with IBM and prior to that served as vice president of marketing for Informix Software. Lefelstein, who recently joined Finisar as vice president of worldwide Sales for Network Tools, has a wealth of experience and success in high technology sales. Prior to joining Finisar, Dan was the vice president of worldwide sales for NFR Securities, a manufacturer of Intrusion Detection Systems. Prior to NFR, Dan was the worldwide vice president of sales for Network Associates and the Sniffer Product Line.

Both Staff and Lefelstein report to Finisar's Sr. Vice President, General Manager Network Tools Division, Kevin Cornell. Prior to joining Finisar, Kevin ran the worldwide sales operations for Borland Software in Scotts Valley, CA. A 30-year industry veteran, Cornell has held various senior positions at Oracle, MIPS Computers, ICL Computers, and Burroughs Business Machines developing both hardware and software systems.
