Germantown-based Optelcom to provide Siemens Medical with Internet- based rich media abilities

Optelecom Inc., of Germantown, a fiber optics system designer and developer, signed an agreement with Siemens Medical Solutions, a global supplier of health care equipment, to provide the German company with the ability to deliver Internet-based rich media, combining audio, video, presentation material and animated images in real time or on a demand basis
