Posted on: Wednesday, 29 March 2006, 09:00 CST
TECORE(R) Wireless Systems, a pioneer supplier of new generation wireless systems, will be featuring its SoftMSC(TM) Network Subsystem and CoreCell(TM) CDMA base station products at CTIA Wireless 2006, Booth 2835, being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, April 5-7.
TECORE has optimized its integrated end-to-end CDMA network solutions with rural network operators and the upcoming FCC 1.7/2.1 GHz spectrum auction in mind. Based on the SoftMSC carrier-grade switching platform and CoreCell CDMA base stations, TECORE's efficient, cost effective NSS and BSS products provide rural operators with a scalable, quickly deployable network infrastructure.
TECORE's CDMA solutions feature its flagship SoftMSC platform, a unique mobile switching platform designed to meet the reliability, performance, and scalability needs of top CDMA network operators around the world. The next generation SoftMSC utilizes a carrier-grade, high availability Linux platform and features an intelligent, Java GUI-based network management system. TECORE's unique patented multi-technology switching supports WiFi and WiMAX, providing an ideal convergence platform for core networks.
Designed specifically for CDMA2000 networks, the CoreCell CDMA Base Station provides an integrated all-IP Base Station Transceiver (BTS) and Base Station Controller (BSC) in a single compact platform, making it ideal for micro cell applications typically deployed in suburban and rural areas or for wireless local loops. The base stations are fully CDMA2000 1xRTT compliant with migration to 1xEV-DO high-speed data services and support all CDMA operating bands.
