TEWKSBURY, Mass., Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Delivering on the promise to provide innovative, distributed open-systems based management solutions to the market, HighStreet Networks today announces a new release of its Xpress(TM) next-generation management software. Xpress(TM) V3.0 is a complete management environment providing users integrated management in a heterogeneous network. Xpress(TM) uses industry-standard cutting-edge technologies to integrate dispersed network based components into a seamless distributed network management solution.

* Integrated Collaboration tools including the capability for operators
and administrators to chat in real-time from within Xpress(TM).
* Event Correlation to minimize the number of alerts while delivering
notification of critical events
* Intrusion Detection monitoring all WAN and LAN traffic for malicious
content and unauthorized intrusions.
HighStreet Networks Xpress(TM) combines an open standards based platform with advanced Web services to deliver off-the-shelf fault resolution, configuration management, performance management and security management functionality to manage a broad range of networked devices and systems. Xpress(TM) can even manage devices not previously networkable such as spectrum analyzers, environmental control systems and other devices with serial management ports.
