Looking Glass Networks Awards Movaz Multi-Year Contract

RAY Product Suite to Support Growth of Looking Glass' Networks;
Movaz Optical Networking Products Deployed and Operational
¶ Movaz Networks was recently awarded a multi-year contract by Looking Glass Networks, Inc., a facilities-based provider of metropolitan telecommunications transport services. Looking Glass deployed Movaz Network's RAY Product Suite of optical networking equipment to enhance its 10 gigabits per second (Gbps) capabilities in support of its product and service portfolio in the Silicon Valley. ¶"Our customer base has grown every quarter since we began operations and we look forward to continued strong growth in 2004. We currently have 248 enterprise and carrier customers with fiber connectivity to more than 400 buildings and over 650 points of presence reaching more than 120 carriers," said John Carruth, Vice President, Network Services. "Movaz Networks' RAY Product Suite is helping to support the expansion of Looking Glass' network footprint as we continue to meet growing customer demand. Movaz Networks' products combine next generation optical technology with operational simplicity at a good value."¶ Looking Glass deployed Movaz Networks' RAYexpress(TM) optical add/drop multiplexer, RAYextender(TM) amplifier and RAYtracer(TM) management system in the 4th quarter, 2003.
