The SEZ Group Selects Industry-Leading Cimetrix CIMPortal Interface A Software for Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment

SALT LAKE CITY, April 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cimetrix, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: CMXX) , a leading provider of factory automation software and solutions for the global semiconductor and electronics industries, today announced that its industry-leading software product, CIMPortal(TM), has been selected by the SEZ Group (SWX Swiss Exchange: SEZN), the leading provider of single-wafer, wet-processing solutions for the semiconductor industry, to facilitate high speed data collection and routing for creating Interface A solutions for its semiconductor equipment.

Mr. Bostjan Pust, Director of Hardware & Software Development at SEZ, recognized the increasing need for on-demand high speed data collection to allow fab engineers to exploit data, carry out advanced process control and fully comply with the Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI) Interface A standards. Following a thorough evaluation of a selection of third party solutions based on criteria that included performance testing, ease of use and compatibility with the new standards, Mr. Pust's team at SEZ selected CIMPortal.
