Wind River Selects Virtutech Simics for Device Software Development; Company Expands Use of Virtutech's Technology

Virtutech, Inc., the leading provider of full system simulation technology for the development and testing of software for advanced electronic systems, today announced that Wind River (NasdaqNM: WIND), the global leader in device software optimization (DSO), will use Simics for the development of board support packages (BSPs) and other aspects of device software. By further integrating full-system simulation technology into the test process, Wind River's engineering organization benefits from faster development of higher quality device software.
