PC Guardian to Introduce Mobile Security Solutions at RSA Conference 2004

Posted on: Monday, 23 February 2004, 06:00 CST

SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, encryption software developer PC Guardian Technologies ("PC Guardian") will introduce its Mobile Security Solutions at RSA 2004 Conference in San Francisco.

The company's Mobile Security Solutions provide protection and control of data that travels outside a client's organization, according to PC Guardian President Noah Groth. "Nearly every large organization defends the network's perimeter. However, these defenses fail when users and data physically step outside the network," says Groth.

PC Guardian's Mobile Security Solution is available via the company's family of software products.

-- Encryption Plus(R) Hard Disk, Encryption Plus Folders, and Encryption

Plus CD-ROM protect data "at rest" on network servers, hard drives, and

removable media.

-- Encryption Plus Email protects data in transit as email, and Encryption

Plus Secure Export protects data transmitted over networks and FTP.

-- PDASecure(TM) protects data stored on PDAs, other devices, and smart

phones.

These solutions can be centrally managed by PC Guardian's recently released Encryption Plus Management Console, a Web-based administrative tool that will allow authentication, compliance monitoring, and central policy management of Encryption Plus users.
