RackSaver(R), the leading provider of high-density blade server clusters, rack-optimized servers and high-performance technical workstations, announces its product line is fully compatible with the newest Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 processors with Hyper-Threading (HT) Technology (formerly codenamed Prescott).
The new Intel Pentium 4 processors with HT Technology offers breakthrough performance for multitasking computing environments, increasing multithreaded application performance over non HT- Technology systems. When incorporated into RackSaver servers, customers in application areas such as Electronic Design Automation will benefit from the chips' faster clock rate, initially up to 3.4GHz, HT Technology, and large 1MB L2 Cache -- providing for faster application throughput and allowing more design simulations in a shorter time. The result is a higher quality design with a faster product time-to-market for our simulation customers.
"Our Premier Provider status with Intel allows RackSaver to immediately offer Intel's latest technology," said David Driggers, CEO, RackSaver Inc. "RackSaver integrates the latest advancements in technology and processing from Intel into advanced computing solutions that provide our customers the highest performance and best price performance, with the greatest density and the lowest possible total cost of ownership in the industry."
In addition, RackSaver NemeSys(TM) workstations have been optimized to run the newest Intel Pentium 4 processor with HT Technology's extended multimedia instruction set. Combined with the NVIDIA Quadro(R) FX 3000 graphics solution allows NemeSys to tackle the industry's toughest graphics applications.
"NVIDIA works closely with RackSaver to provide top solutions for applications that need high-end graphics," said Jeff Brown, general manager of workstation products at NVIDIA. "By being an integral part of RackSaver's NemeSys workstations with Pentium 4 processors with HT Technology, NVIDIA is able to address the needs of the industry's most demanding applications requiring the ultimate in processing speed and graphics capabilities."
