Virginia's Secretary of Technology, Aneesh Chopra to Speak at Region 2000 Technology Council Awards Banquet

LYNCHBURG, Va., April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The Region 2000 Technology Council is pleased to announce Virginia's Secretary of Technology, Aneesh Chopra as the keynote speaker for its annual Awards Banquet on May 25, 2006. The banquet honors the region's leaders in technology innovation, entrepreneurship, and education. Jonathan Whitt, Executive Director of the Technology Council states, "Having Secretary Chopra speak at this year's awards night is an honor for us. This will be the Secretary's first visit to the region and his introduction to the business community is important to our building a stronger network of technology businesses."
