Akamai to Join NASDAQ-100 Index

Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM), the leading global service provider for accelerating content and business processes online, today announced the Company will be added to the NASDAQ-100 Index(R) effective prior to the market open on April 20, 2006. Akamai's common shares will also be included in the NASDAQ-100 Index Tracking Stock(SM) (NASDAQ: QQQQ).
