¶ Sybase, Inc. and LECCO Technology Inc. (LECCOTECH) extend their partnership to provide Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) customers with a new option to optimize and manage application performance changes.

¶ -- This new, optional feature enables Database Administrators

(DBAs) to solve the problems that contribute up to 90 percent

of application performance issues: SQL statements, indexes,

and database changes, by incorporating performance diagnosis,

performance optimization and performance management

functionality into one tool.

¶ -- The Database Expert Option is the first product available that

allows ASE customers to identify what will be affected by a

major upgrade or EBF and allow DBAs to focus their tuning on

this subset of queries.

¶ -- This partnership demonstrates Sybase's commitment to provide

its customers with today's most advanced technologies to

increase overall business productivity.

to improve SQL performance and evaluate the performance impact

of index creation

server by evaluating the effect on performance when changing

ASE configurations

deploying applications to production or upgrading Adaptive

Server Enterprise

database to free up space and decrease maintenance
