Vitesse to Present at the 2004 Optical Fiber Communication Conference

Vitesse Semiconductor Corporation (Nasdaq:VTSS) today announced it will co-present a technical paper with the University of Southern California at the 2004 Optical Fiber Communication (OFC) Conference in Los Angeles, Calif. The conference is the largest and most highly regarded event in the industry and provides an established forum for optical communications education and development. The event will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, February 22-27, 2004. ¶ Performance results for the technical paper were secured through the use of Vitesse's Smart-LINK(TM) technology. Smart-LINK products are designed to significantly reduce the cost of data transmission in module and line card applications giving system designers of optical and copper-based modules the ability to electronically compensate for link impairments.
