Agreement To Create Second Cellphone Telecom Network

The SahwaNet Internet site reported on the signing of an agreement between the Yemen Telecom Company and the Sudanese government to set up a second cellular telephone telecom network in Sudan
. The paper quoted Director of the National Telecom Authority, Mustafa a-Taib, who said in January 2004 that the Authority signed this contract with the Yemeni BesharTel Telecom Company at an investment of 150 million. The Communications Ministry published a tender on this matter due to problems with the supply of services by the Sudanese Mobitel Cellular Telephone Service Company.Related Articles
