DALLAS, May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Reflect Systems Inc., a leading provider of digital signage products and solutions, today announced the hiring of Rick Mattock to the position of Vice President, Software Development and Customer Support. Mattock, a seasoned executive with experience in all aspects of software development, product management and customer support, will lead the development of new software for Reflect Systems' ReflectView(TM), ReflectWeb(TM) and ReflectNet(TM) product lines, as well as oversee all areas of customer support for Reflect Systems software.

Mattock comes to Reflect Systems from Fuego Inc., a leader in Business Process Management (BPM) software solutions which was recently acquired by BEA Systems. At Fuego, Mattock led the strategic development of Fuego's award- winning product offering, FuegoBPM Suite, managed customer support, and played a critical role in the company's acquisition by BEA.

Prior to his time with Fuego, Mattock also served as Vice President of Software Development and Media Operations at Next Generation Networks, Inc., a digital signage network company. Next Generation Networks (NGN) was sold to Regal Entertainment Group; after completion of the sale, Mattock and his team modified the core NGN system to support Regal Cinema's location-based signage network, including interfaces with the company's film projectors and theater point-of-sale (POS) systems.

"Rick Mattock is exceptionally qualified as a software innovator. His unique understanding of enterprise software, especially applications that support the management and distribution of digital content across commercial networks, will be of great value to Reflect Systems," said Stan Woodward, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Reflect Systems. "Rick's hiring is an indication of the business momentum our company has built in recent months, and will continue to build through better customer service, higher product quality, and overall greater product innovation."

"Reflect Systems is clearly emerging as a market leader in the digital signage field. I'm pleased to be able to lend my talents and experience to the company in this new role," said Mattock. "Leveraging Reflect's core competency in creating massively scalable streaming media solutions, the team is uniquely qualified to build differentiated products in this expanding industry."

Through his career, Mattock has held a number of executive positions in software development, product management and sales engineering. Among the companies he has worked for are Lotus/IBM, Objectspace, Shared Medical Systems (now Siemens) and Symantec.

Mattock holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Systems Analysis from St. Vincent College, and a second undergraduate degree in Art History from Penn State University. At Penn State he also earned a Masters of Management in Business Administration.
