"Tammy's expertise in web and mobile content distribution and sales will help Navio deliver rights-based commerce to critical markets around the world," said Stefan Roever, president and chief executive officer, Navio Systems. Artim's esteemed career in the mobile and gaming industries includes many senior executive positions. Most recently, Artim was vice president of sales and operations at mobile content and gaming publisher Blaze (formerly Kayak Interactive). At Blaze, she opened Kayak's distribution in North and South America by securing direct carrier relationships with major top tier mobile service providers. Prior to Blaze, Artim was the vice president of sales at Sorrent (now Glu Mobile). She built the sales teams in the North, Latin and South American regions, and was ultimately responsible for building a strong revenue stream and establishing Sorrent as one of the top three mobile game publishers. Artim has also held executive sales, operations, marketing and product management positions at Intershop Communications, XMarc, Inc., Peakstone and Wind River Systems.
"Navio is truly an innovator for digital content distribution and online commerce," said Tammy Artim, Navio's executive vice president of worldwide sales and product management. "Navio's technology makes it possible to conduct commerce to all the edges of the online network, without restrictions on rights and with flexibility and device compatibility. The rights-based commerce model will allow content owners to take advantage of new outlets and business opportunities that were previously unreachable."
In addition to appointing Artim to the executive vice president role for worldwide sales and product management, Navio has also promoted the following executives:
Kevin Collins has been promoted from senior vice president of engineering to chief technology officer (CTO). As CTO, Kevin will be responsible for the overall design and construction of Navio products and services. Kevin was previously a co-founder and CTO for NetReliance, Inc., and Experio Solutions Corporation's national director for enterprise security (Experio Solutions Corporation is a Hitachi company).
Paul Tocatlian has been promoted from director of professional services to vice president of solutions, and will lead Navio's customer implementation and application engineering initiatives from project inception through launch, delivering innovative Web and WAP commerce solutions on the AV Commerce platform for Navio's customers, consumers and affiliates.
