Tentoe, the leading provider of online merchandising solutions, today announced the hiring of Adriaan Theron as vice president of marketing and business development to further strengthen the company's leadership in the online product merchandising space. Theron brings more than 25 years of enterprise and Internet application experience to Tentoe, having served in a variety of executive sales, marketing and management roles throughout his career.

In his role as vice president of marketing and business development at Tentoe, Theron will assume responsibility for outbound communications, product management, professional services and business development. Theron will also drive the product road map, balancing vendor needs with market demands, while creating new partnerships, both technology and business, to increase Tentoe's revenue and provide world class solutions for its customers.
Prior to joining Tentoe, Theron was vice president of sales and worldwide marketing for Propel Software, where he established strategic early customer relationships and helped shape the company's technology orientation. Before Propel, he served executive sales and marketing roles at DigitalThink, Plexus, SQL Financials Int. and Learnsoft. Between 1980 and 1993, he held various senior sales and marketing management positions with Hewlett-Packard in Europe and the U.S.
