TACODA(R) to Power Behaviorally-Targeted In-Stream Video Advertising on Tremor Network

Posted on: Monday, 8 May 2006, 12:03 CDT

TACODA(R), the world's largest behaviorally-targeted online advertising network, and Tremor Network, a provider of powerful rich media and online video advertising, today announced the introduction of the first behaviorally-targeted in-stream video advertising solution, allowing advertisers to more accurately target their online video campaigns to the most relevant users.

This is the first time that online in-stream video from major brand advertisers can be behaviorally targeted with seamless campaign integration. TACODA will extend its behavioral technology and audience data to Tremor Network. Moreover, Tremor Network will be TACODA's preferred technology provider for in-stream video ads within the TACODA Audience Networks(TM).

By partnering with TACODA, Tremor will be able to collect audience metrics that are currently not available such as detailed statistics that highlight consumer interest and interaction with video ad campaigns broken down by categories of anonymous historical behavior.

"Online video is growing at an extraordinary pace and TACODA will play a big role in monetizing undifferentiated content such as reality series, entertainment and news clips," says Larry Allen, Senior Vice President for Marketing and Business Development at TACODA. "We are pleased to work with Tremor, one of the most respected online video advertising providers. With the formation of this partnership we now have a video tool set that will make it easy for major brands to extend their messaging beyond television."

"The goal of the relationship is to drive new revenue streams for both companies by leveraging existing sales channels and capitalizing on the core competencies of each, behavioral targeting and in-stream video, respectively," says Jason Glickman, CEO of Tremor Network. "TACODA is the clear industry leader in behavioral targeting and gathering a critical mass of unique users from the Internet's top sites. Together we will be able to deliver the most relevant message to users who we know are interested in the advertiser's products and services."
