Samsung Selects 6WIND Software to Develop Mobile IP Applications

6WIND (www.6wind.com), leader in embedded networking software, announced its selection by Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. to provide a 6WINDGate(TM) software license with state-of-the-art mobile IP features for the latter's research and development on a new generation of mobile broadband applications. 6WINDGate(TM) software is to enable end-users to stay connected on the Internet with their mobile devices, should customers wish, as they move from one type of wireless infrastructure to the next, for example, between WiFi and WiMAX.
