The Newspaper Agency Corporation Selects AdPay's Click-N-Buy Classifieds

Posted on: Thursday, 11 May 2006, 09:08 CDT

DENVER, May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- AdPay, Inc. today announced that the Newspaper Agency Corporation (NAC) has chosen AdPay's Click-N-Buy Classifieds to power the online classifieds marketplace for The Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret Morning News. The NAC, formed in 1952, manages the advertising, printing, circulation, and business functions of the two Salt Lake City, Utah, newspapers.

"We thoroughly investigated all of the vendors providing online classified solutions and discovered that AdPay's Click-N-Buy Classifieds is yielding the best results for newspapers," said Sally Steed, Director of Utah Media Partners at the NAC. "AdPay's focus on creating an online solution that easily integrates with our systems and business processes and complements print made our decision easy."

The NAC joins more than 45 of the nation's top newspapers in using AdPay's solution. Click-N-Buy Classifieds gives online-classified advertisers the ability to create print-integrated or standalone online classifieds with expanded online text, photos, and multimedia. AdPay's technology gives advertisers the choice of making sales for a fixed price, using its patent-pending best offer system, or via an auction. In addition, retailers can create online Click-N-Buy storefronts resulting in a consolidated marketplace for new and used merchandise from private parties and retailers. All transactions are tracked and managed in a secure database with full audit trails to ensure safety and security of all online activities.

"Combining print and online gives the NAC a competitive advantage over online only players," noted David A. Rice, AdPay's president and CEO. "We are very pleased to have been selected by NAC after their extensive evaluation of vendors and look forward to teaming with NAC's classified, advertising, and online teams to drive the success of this initiative."
