NormSoft Provides Audio Playback for Palm Treo 700p Smartphone With Pocket Tunes

BOSTON, May 15 /PRNewswire/ -- NormSoft, Inc. today announced the availability of its award-winning audio player Pocket Tunes(TM) on Palm, Inc.'s newest device, the Palm(R) Treo(TM) 700p smartphone. Together, Pocket Tunes and the Treo 700p provide mobile users with a first class all-in-one smartphone and portable MP3 player.

The Treo 700p smartphone includes the Pocket Tunes "Bundle" version pre-loaded on the device. This version provides playback of MP3 files, playlist management, and many other features. As the first Palm OS(R) based Treo smartphone on EvDO, the Palm Treo 700p smartphone uses its fast data connection to speed email, messaging, large attachment downloads and web browsing.(1) The speed also allows for streaming multimedia content.
