Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Awarded a $6.4 Million Contract for Communications Jamming High Power Amplifiers

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq: CMTL) announced today that its New York-based subsidiary, Comtech PST Corp., has received a $6.4 million contract for broadband, solid state, high power RF microwave amplifier systems from a major international customer. The contract includes options for additional systems with a potential value of $2.9 million.

The amplifier systems, which include the latest solid state switching and transistor technology and provide for very broad frequency coverage, will be utilized as part of a communications jamming system supplied to an international end user.
