Toshiba Announces Hitachi Cable WirelessIP5000 Wireless Telephone for Toshiba Strata CIX IP Communication System; Supports Toshiba's Commitment to Wireless Solutions

Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., Telecommunication Systems Division (TAIS TSD) today announced Hitachi Cable, Ltd.'s WirelessIP5000(a) Wireless Telephone for Toshiba's Strata(R) CIX(TM) IP business communication system. Distribution licensed from Hitachi Cable America Inc., WirelessIP5000 is an 802.11b wireless handset supporting Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), which maximizes multimedia communications over the Toshiba Strata CIX system. It is available now from Authorized Toshiba Dealers nationwide.
