Telelogic Signs $600,000 License Contract with American Aerospace/Defense Company Company Standardizes on Telelogic DOORS(R) and Telelogic DocExpress(R) for Major Defense Project
MALMO, Sweden, March 30, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telelogic (Stockholm Exchange: TLOG), the leading global provider of solutions for advanced systems and software development, today announced that it has signed a $600,000 license agreement with a leading American aerospace and defense systems company. The contract includes licensing fees and maintenance for Telelogic DOORS for requirement management and Telelogic DocExpress for automated document generation.
The aerospace/defense systems company is a contractor to the U.S. Army and is currently involved in a number of large defense programs. On one project, building a complex communications network that consolidates existing systems, the company has standardized on Telelogic DOORS for requirements management.
Telelogic DOORS was selected due to its ability to meet the Army's stringent traceability requirements and support distributed development. Once implemented, management will have better visibility to project progress due to superior better reporting and less effort will be needed to coordinate distributed engineering tasks and requirements. Using DOORS will also enable the company to improve information exchange with the Army and its other subcontractors.
DocExpress will also be used on this project as it provides automated reporting and documentation services that reduce the effort and cost of producing and maintaining documentation.
"Telelogic is continuously strengthening its position in the aerospace and defense industry," said Anders Lidbeck, president and CEO of Telelogic.
"This is a multi-billion project with several subcontractors and today's contract is hopefully just the beginning of Telelogic's involvement in a program with great potential."
