Sprint Recognizes SANYO For Receiving the Highest Ranking for Customer Satisfaction in the J.D. Power and Associates 2006 U.S. Wireless Mobile Phone Evaluation Study

Sprint (NYSE:S) congratulates SANYO for receiving the highest overall score in the J.D. Power and Associates 2006 U.S. Wireless Mobile Phone Evaluation Study(SM)- Volume 1*. SANYO has now received the highest in customer satisfaction with wireless mobile phones, three times in a row, tied in 2005, which is a considerable achievement.
