ViewCentral Announces Integration with WebEx Event Center Service

SAN FRANCISCO, March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- ViewCentral Inc., the leader in Collaboration Management Solutions (CMS), announced today its flagship collaboration management platform, ViewCentral version 4.7, has been integrated for use with the WebEx Event Center service from WebEx Communications, Inc. , the web communications services leader. ViewCentral customers leveraging WebEx Event Center service will benefit from a seamless process for managing and executing large-scale Web-based events.

Best Software, a leading provider of business management products and services, is among the first companies to deploy the joint solution from WebEx and ViewCentral. Best will use the combined offering to manage and produce approximately 100 customer-facing marketing Web events each quarter.

The integration between ViewCentral and WebEx Event Center is the latest development in a strategic relationship between the two companies that was forged originally in 2000.

ViewCentral solutions enable marketing and training professionals at enterprises to streamline the management of virtual and in-person events. Specifically, ViewCentral solutions are used to manage registration, payment, scheduling, Web and audio conferencing, evaluations, reporting and analysis for marketing and training events. As a result of the integration with WebEx Event Center, ViewCentral customers will have access to the full suite of event management services offered by ViewCentral combined with the entire range of web communications capabilities of the WebEx MediaTone Network.
