Mirage Networks, developers of Network Access Control (NAC) technology designed for the network interior, today announced that Howard A. Schmidt has been named to its board of directors.
With a distinguished career in defense, law enforcement and corporate security spanning almost 40 years, Schmidt offers Mirage Networks invaluable vision and strategic guidance as the company builds on current successes to establish market leadership.
"In Mirage Networks, I see innovative, effective technology, and an executive team that can lead this company to the forefront of the dynamic network access control space," said Schmidt. Schmidt's background includes 31 years of public service in local and federal government as well as several years as the Chief Information Security Officer for both eBay and Microsoft.
