‘Best of CeBIT America’ Awards Entries Now Being Accepted
NEW YORK, April 2 /PRNewswire/ — CeBIT America, the premier information and communications technology (ICT) event for the enterprise business marketplace, today announced that the “Best of CeBIT America” Awards will return to the trade fair for the second year. CeBIT America takes place May 25-27, 2004 at the Javits Center, and the awards ceremony will take place on the show floor on Wednesday, May 26 at 2:00 pm.
Entries are being accepted now through May 14, 2004; the entry form can be found at http://www.cebit-america.com/awards. To be eligible, a product must be announced on or after February 1, 2004 and scheduled to ship to customers on or before July 31, 2004. It needs to be available for public viewing at CeBIT America, in the booth or public meeting room of a contracted CeBIT America exhibitor.
The editors of eWEEK and PC Magazine — both leading Ziff Davis Media publications — will review new products and services and present awards in twelve product categories. One of these will then be determined to be best-of-show and will be named “Best of CeBIT America.”
“The ‘Best of CeBIT America’ Awards will determine the best new products and services in terms of innovation, technical breakthrough, and creativity of design, as judged by the editorial and labs staffs of eWEEK and PC Magazine,” said Mark Dineen, Managing Director of CeBIT America. “The show is an important gathering place for the technology industry, and thus an ideal venue to evaluate new products and services and determine the stand-outs for 2004.”
