South Florida Interactive Marketing Association (SFIMA) Hosts the Combined Power of Hispanics Online - SFIMA's First Miami Event on June 8, 2006
Posted on: Monday, 5 June 2006, 15:00 CDT
The South Florida Interactive Marketing Association (SFIMA) hosts another exciting interactive marketing presentation: The Combined Power of Hispanics Online. Our guest presenter is Marilyn Aldir, a National Account Manager at Terra.com. Ms. Aldir will discuss the power of Hispanics Online, recent trends in Hispanic marketing and the latest research.
This month, the event will be hosted at the Miami Museum of Science & Planetarium. To start the evening, there will be networking in the museum's Space Gallery followed by a 25 minute interactive show in the Planetarium entitled "Phantom Ships of the Titanic: Many Titanic survivors claimed they saw the lights of several rescue ships on the night the Titanic sank. See the night skies over the Titanic recreated as they actually existed on April 14, 1912."
Additionally, SFIMA will present its first grant to the Miami Museum of Science & Planetarium. The grant was awarded to the museum for demonstrating a vision and a passion for the online channel in support of its not-for-profit goals and its ability to make a difference in the lives of the community it serves.
Afterwards, Terra.com will present a dynamic workshop entitled "The Combined Power of Hispanics Online" in the Museum's 243-seat theater. Hispanics are young, hip, and multicultural - representing the largest minority in the United States both online and offline. The nature of the Internet brings new content and services daily which requires marketers to stay abreast of the latest offerings to reach Hispanics: podcasts, blogs, and online video among others.
Founded in 2003, the South Florida Interactive Marketing Association (SFIMA) is a forum dedicated to professionals specializing in interactive marketing. Our goal is to provide opportunities for learning and networking that promote career growth and business success.
