The global partner program establishes a formal partner framework focused on joint marketing investments and co-selling opportunities to drive new business for Opsware partners. Opsware works with leading system integrators, value-added resellers, managed service providers and technology partners.
"Partners are a critical part of Opsware's growth strategy and have contributed to making Opsware the Data Center Automation solution of choice around the globe," said Patrick Joyce, vice president of worldwide channel sales at Opsware Inc. "Through our new global partner program, we're delivering greater value to our channel partners in order to extend our mutual business and revenue opportunities and, more importantly, to be able to serve more customers worldwide. We are aggressively building and extending alliances with partners who have proven they can help organizations align their IT practices to deliver better business performance."

"With the investment that it has made in building out its partner program, we now have even greater support. Opsware understands the value of its partners and is bringing energy and creativity to the relationship that I believe will help us together achieve greater success."
To fully support its partners, Opsware has added co-marketing programs and significantly expanded its partner support and services infrastructure. Opsware partners are provided with a variety of benefits, both volume and value-based, which can include internal use software, sales and technical training and certification, joint demand creation activities, funding for events and advertising, access to Opsware's partner portal, a partner advisory counsel, Webinars and lead sharing. Opsware has already signed several VAR agreements across major vertical segments, including financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, government, retail and consumer packaged goods, among others.
"ThruPoint and Opsware share the vision of helping clients align IT objectives with strategic goals," said Wendy Mars, CTO at ThruPoint. "Opsware's new program provides the highest level of support to partners, enabling us to offer comprehensive solutions to our clients in both data center automation and asset life cycle management."
The new program is designed to solidify Opsware as the partner of choice for Data Center Automation solutions around the world. It enhances a partner company's ability to access Opsware knowledge, expertise and resources, all of which help drive market share for the respective organizations.
