nFusion Group Enters Entertainment Market With Fox &Amp; Warner Home Video Projects

Posted on: Monday, 12 June 2006, 12:00 CDT

Interactive marketing firm nFusion Group today announced the establishment of its entertainment marketing division. The firm is launching this new division by announcing agreements with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment and Warner Home Video. The two studios engaged nFusion for interactive projects to complement the DVD launch of movies due out this summer. These mark the first of several expected projects from Hollywood studios for nFusion, which decided to target the film and DVD market after bringing onboard Mark Drosos as vice president of business development.

Before joining nFusion Mark was executive director of worldwide interactive marketing for Warner Home Video where he directed international online marketing strategies including advertising, promotions, publicity, content, media research and creative development. Prior to Warner Bros., Mark was part of an executive team that orchestrated the turnaround of Ruiz Foods products from a $30 million company to a $200 million company. He also previously launched a specialty products groups for Hormel Foods and executed a national rollout of a mapping software product for Rand McNally.

"nFusion works with consumer companies around the world, including HD-DVD maker Toshiba," said Drosos. "The move to entertainment marketing is a natural progression for nFusion and I look forward to developing this division for the agency while continuing to build work in other consumer markets."

Warner Home Video engaged nFusion to concept a user-generated content program for the June 13 launch of a DVD release, while 20th Century Fox hired the firm to develop a viral online piece for the international DVD release of "The Family Stone" in May. Playing off the theme of the movie and seamlessly localizing for an international audience, the Fox site invites users to create a perfect mate for their own brother or sister. An international version of this match-making game can be seen at http://fox.nfusion.com/family_stone.html.
