Numara Software Achieves Major Milestones Within Six Months of Launch As Independent Company; Record Revenue, New Products, Customer Wins, Executive Appointments and Industry Awards Signify Company Success and Momentum

Since its launch as an independent company in December of 2005, Numara Software, Inc. (formerly Blue Ocean Software) has achieved several milestones, marking its continued momentum as a leading supplier of IT management solutions. Numara Software has already experienced record quarterly revenues, several industry accolades, strategic executive appointments and wide customer adoption of its core product offerings.

In the most recent quarter ended April 2006 (Q3 FY2006) and its first full quarter as an independent company, Numara Software achieved its highest revenue level in the company history dating back 15 years to its days as Blue Ocean Software.

Since the December 2005 launch of Numara Track-It! 7, Numara Software's flagship product and the most widely installed help desk and asset management solution in the world, Numara Software experienced a record number of upgrade downloads from customers and prospects, marking more evaluation requests than any other software release in the company's 15-year history.

Numara Track-It! 7 encompasses all of the popular features of the product's previous versions in addition to enhanced scalability and ease of use. New Customers

Following Numara Software's launch as a rebranded, independent entity, a steady stream of new customer sites have selected Numara Software, recognizing the value of managing their IT infrastructure with automated, user-friendly and cost-effective solutions. Examples of new customers selecting Numara Track-It! for help desk and IT asset management solutions include: LGC Wireless, Northwestern State University and The Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club.

Strengthened Leadership

This year, Numara Software added two key executive appointments to the leadership of the company, both of whom served in management roles at IBM and bring vast software experience and business acumen to Numara Software. In February, Numara Software named Brendan J. Dawson as Chairman of the Board. A veteran of the information systems industry who has served on the board of seven different companies, Mr. Dawson brings to the chairmanship his extensive operations experience and proven track record in growing software companies. In March, Numara Software appointed Michael Branca to the position of CFO to drive the company's financial strategy and economic growth.

Industry Recognition

In February, Forrester Research, Inc. recognized Numara Track-It! as a strong performer among competing small service desk management tools in its February 2006 report, "The Forrester Wave: Service Desk Management Tools, Q1 2006." Ranking criteria included critical assessments of market presence, strength of current product offerings and company and product strategy. The report also recognized Numara Track-It! as being the only service desk solution offering support for Macintosh environments.

As announced in March, a survey conducted by the leading Spanish language market help desk forum, Foro Helpdesk, identified Numara Track-It! as help desk professionals' preferred choice for help-desk software.
