SightSpeed Inc., the award-winning provider of free and premium Internet video and voice communications services (VVoIP and VoIP), announced that the latest version of SightSpeed is now available at the Roxio Labs Web site (http://labs.roxio.com). The site, which was created by Sonic Solutions, provides consumers early access to innovative technologies from Sonic and third-party developers.
"Roxio Labs is a great way for more consumers to find out about SightSpeed's innovative VVoIP and VoIP services, which are a tremendous complement to Roxio's rich line of consumer digital media applications," said Scott Lomond, COO of SightSpeed. "Our new online distribution through Roxio Labs provides a tremendous opportunity to extend the awareness and adoption of SightSpeed by introducing a new community to the quality and power of our award-winning software."
The placement on the new Roxio Labs Web site is part of an ongoing collaboration between SightSpeed and Sonic Solutions, who entered into a long term agreement in March of this year. It also represents another example of SightSpeed's efforts to make it easier for people to access the software around the world.
"As a best-of-class video conferencing solution, SightSpeed epitomizes the high quality emerging technologies Roxio Labs was designed to showcase," said Sean Penn, senior vice president of Roxio Labs. "SightSpeed's latest release extends the company's market leadership and is ideally suited for our loyal community base."
