Posted on: Thursday, 15 June 2006, 09:00 CDT
Since its first internet radio broadcast over three years ago, Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) has entertained over two million streams, totaling more than 900,000 listening hours to domestic and international audiences. In recent years, internet radio has increasingly gained popularity, and to garner additional listeners, terrestrial radio stations are simulcasting programs on the internet for audiences worldwide. In continuing to set new trends in the market place, Industrial Info recently began providing a portion of its daily internet-based program to WBCB (1490AM), a terrestrial radio station serving Bucks, Burlington and Mercer counties of northeast Philadelphia and Trenton, New Jersey.
Crazy Al's Radio Party exploded onto the airwaves of WBCB radio LIVE for the first time last week greatly expanding its demographics and the opportunities for its commercial advertising clients. Callers jammed the switchboard of Industrial Info's Detroit studios during this live show! Vice President of Broadcasting Allyn Schmitz (aka Crazy Al) said, "We are excited at the growing number of terrestrial radio stations expressing interest in adding Crazy Al's Radio Party to their radio networks." Industrial Info entertains an average of 64,000 total listening streams each month, and the addition of WBCB, and other terrestrial networks, has the potential to greatly expand its listening audience. WBCB has been broadcasting from studios in Levittown, Pennsylvania, since 1957 and is a very well-respected station featuring news, talk, sports and a perfect selection of music.
Industrial Info's Industry Today program will also be aired immediately following the Philadelphia Phillies' baseball games Monday nights on WBCB bringing industry's most listened to and most anticipated industrial radio talk show to the East Coast terrestrial radio market. Industry Today is an executive-style talk show featuring top executives from the industrial market place and exploring products, services, and the trends influencing industry spending. Industry Today also airs LIVE each Monday on Industrialinfo.com at 10 a.m. (EDT). Click here (http://www.industrialinfo.com/radio) for the complete schedule. Industrial Info first began streaming its internet radio broadcast in January of 2003, featuring top of the hour industrial news, market intelligence, and exclusive interviews with some of the industrial market's top leaders intermingled with rare oldies and hits from the 50's, 60's and 70's.
