N2 Broadband Demonstrating New On-Demand Technologies at the 2004 National Show

ATLANTA, April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- N2 Broadband Inc., the leading provider of scalable, open-standard solutions for on-demand services, will demonstrate advanced on-demand technologies, including its OpenStream(TM) digital services platform, at the National Cable & Telecommunications Association's (NCTA) National Show. The conference will take place at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center May 2 - 5 in New Orleans.

will demonstrate OpenStream's ability to support multiple VOD servers,

networks, and applications all with a single, open back-office system.

- Xport(TM) Producer: A workstation device for simple VOD content

preparation. Key features include metadata creation and editing,

metadata validating, and packaging, storing, and exporting of VOD

content. MPEG transport stream encoding, editing, and playback

functionality are also provided by Xport Producer.

- MediaPoint(TM) AMS: A media asset manager that allows cable operators

to manage the receipt of content from multiple sources and to automate

processes for storing and propagating that content within the cable

system.

- N2 Professional Services: Backed by a team of cable industry experts,

N2 Professional services includes business and operations design for

on-demand services, custom development, training and OpenStream

compliance testing, along with NOC (Network Operations Center) support

services for N2 Broadband and third-party systems and applications.
