NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display Names Doug Albregts As Vice-President of Marketing

CHICAGO, April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display of America, Inc., the number one stand-alone vendor of flat panel desktop displays, today announced the promotion of Doug Albregts to vice-president of marketing. Effective immediately, Albregts will be responsible for strategic sales and marketing of the company's award-winning LCD and CRT monitors in North America to further the company's desktop display leadership among consumer, business and specialty markets. Having most recently served as vice president of North American sales for NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display, Albregts' move to marketing will see him drive brand mind share and sales through a wide range of marketing strategies.

Of his numerous accomplishments with NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display, Albregts most recently drove the sales and marketing strategy for the 40-inch NEC LCD4000 and 30-inch LCD3000 (29.5 viewable image size) information displays with a solution selling approach at the company's new Display Solutions Pavilion. As a chairperson for the 1,200 square foot pavilion, he oversaw how the facility helps partners and customers understand the components that make up a complete digital media and advertising solution in a wide range of vertical markets. As vice president of marketing, Albregts will continue to leverage solutions selling as well as developing new strategies that will effectively accelerate the adoption of NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display's information and desktop displays.
