JAM Technologies Inc., an innovative, fabless mixed signal semiconductor company, today announced partnerships with four world-class semiconductor sales distributors in Asia. Newly established relationships with Internix in Japan, Adnet in Korea, Metatech in Singapore and CoreValue in Hong Kong/China, bolster the company's sales force with proven expertise in the consumer electronics semiconductor industry.
Having recently announced its new headquarters in Singapore and a strategic partnership with JSI, a Singapore-based shipment and logistical support company, the addition of these prominent distributors expands JAM's sales team to service the growing demand for its digital amplifier products and provide efficient, localized customer support to help drive design-win velocity and time-to-market.
JAM has raised the bar for digital power amplifiers by delivering true fidelity without complexity. The introduction of JAM's innovative products has helped to accelerate the natural transition from analog to digital amplification in the global consumer electronics market. The innovation is in its design; JAM's digital power amplifiers use a sub-ranging pulse width modulation (PWM) direct digital architecture to deliver analog quality audio with the efficiency of Class D.
"Our products are generating significant demand from consumer electronics OEMs throughout Asia," said Mike Holt, JAM chief executive officer. "It's all about delivering the highest quality of customer service. Our new partners will help us to meet the increased demand for our products and execute on our high standards for customer service."
With an excellent track record and established relationships with some of the largest consumer electronics manufacturers in the world, including Sharp and Panasonic, Internix brings JAM a proven partner in Japan. JAM will leverage Internix's consumer electronics expertise to expediently deliver its digital audio amplifiers to Japanese customers.
Korea-based Adnet brings a long history in design-in and semiconductor solution development with electronics leaders including Samsung and LG Electronics. JAM will tap into Adnet's industry expertise and engineering resources to promote the benefits of its ICs to consumer electronics manufacturers in the region.
Metatech is a well-established component distributor with a strong sales network of 16 regional offices and has wide and in-depth coverage of customers in the Southeast Asia region.
CoreValue, a subsidiary of CoreTek, is a leading provider of innovative semiconductor solutions and value-added services with offices in Hong Kong and China. CoreValue will support JAM customers in China with their expertise in developing turnkey solutions and reference designs for the consumer electronics market.
"We are pleased to add these world-class distributors to our global sales team," said E.K. Chai, JAM director of Asia sales. "Each company brings a unique value and a proven history in sales and distribution, which enables us to support our customers with a local presence and understanding of the intricacies of the various regions that they represent."
The new partners are an extension of JAM's existing sales force, which also includes a partnership with Promate, its current distributor based in Taiwan.
