Bechtel National Awarded Army Infrastructure Modernization Contract

FREDERICK, Md., June 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Bechtel National, Inc. has been selected by the US Army to acquire, upgrade, and sustain voice and data communication media on military installations worldwide, under the Infrastructure Modernization (IMOD) contract.

The IMOD contract supports the Installation Information Infrastructure Modernization Program (I3MP) and the Army Enterprise Systems. Under IMOD, Bechtel is among 10 contractors who will be invited to bid on global site- specific Task Orders. This five-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract has one five-year option and a $4 billion ceiling.
