NEC Display Solutions of America, Inc., the leading stand-alone provider of flat panel desktop and commercial large-screen LCD displays, today introduced a new widescreen display to its MultiSync 70-series LCD desktop line. Adding to the reputation of the acclaimed MultiSync line of monitors, the new 20-inch display is part of a growing trend toward larger business desktop monitors, which improve effectiveness and productivity.
The all new NEC MultiSync LCD2070WNX boasts a large 20.1-inch viewable screen image, an ultra high 1680 x 1050 native resolution, a wide 16:9 aspect ratio, a 10-millisecond response time, a 500:1 contrast ratio and a brightness level of 300 cd/m(2), making it one of the brightest and fastest 20-inch displays on the market. The MultiSync LCD2070WNX monitor also features a conveniently located, fully integrated four-port USB 2.0 Hub, as well as a full-featured stand that includes height adjustment, tilt and swivel.
Another notable feature of the new NEC MultiSync LCD2070WNX is the inclusion of NEC's Ambix(R) dual input technology, providing both a traditional analog input and a DVI connection for enhanced compatibility with today's and tomorrow's PCs. By combining outstanding image quality, reliability and performance, the new 20-inch model is one of the most full-featured, digital-ready LCD desktop displays in this category.
"NEC's MultiSync 70-series has developed a reputation as a true performer in the enterprise segment, and the MultiSync LCD2070WNX builds on that performance. This new widescreen display gives business users a wider and larger area to view spread sheets and multiple applications," said Kevin Christopherson, Product Line Manager for NEC Display Solutions. "The unparalleled performance and ultra-thin-frame screen serves to enhance the end-user viewing experience."
Key features of the new MultiSync LCD2070WNX model include:
-- Thin-frame Design, which allows more viewable image and less of the monitor bezel, while freeing up more horizontal and vertical desktop space for multiple-monitor applications
-- Height-adjustable Stand, which adds flexibility and comfort for optimal viewing
-- No Touch Auto Adjust, which reduces setup time and provides optimal image settings upon initial power-on
-- Ambix(R) Dual-input Technology, which allows for digital/analog compatibility with upgraded video cards and software as well as connection to two systems
-- NaViSet Software, which offers an expanded and intuitive graphical interface, allowing easier OSM display-setting adjustments via mouse and keyboard
-- Multi-directional NaViKey, which allows for easy screen setting adjustments
-- Rapid Response Technology, which delivers virtually uninterrupted, undistorted viewing of high-speed, full-motion video
Estimated street price for the new NEC MultiSync LCD2070WNX is $449.99. The display is available in silver/white as well as black, and is ready for immediate delivery.
