Sprint and MercuryMD Team Up to Offer Healthcare Providers One-Stop Shopping Opportunity for Mobility Solutions

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., & SAN DIEGO, April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Sprint and MercuryMD announced today a collaborative agreement to offer a complete mobility solution for healthcare providers in a one-stop shopping arrangement. Under the agreement, the MData(R) Enterprise System mobile software from MercuryMD will be available on select Sprint PCS Smart Devices and represents the first of several applications to be available as part of Sprint's healthcare mobility solutions strategy announced with palmOne, Inc. in February. Through an existing Sprint PCS Business Solutions(SM) Program relationship, Trio Teknologies, a distributor of wireless voice and data services, will provide customers with a single, convenient point of contact for all aspects of the solution including service activation and device fulfillment.
