Knowledge Networks Is 4th Fastest Growing U.S. Market Research Company

Posted on: Thursday, 13 July 2006, 09:00 CDT

MENLO PARK, Calif., July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Knowledge Networks (KN) is the fourth fastest growing market research company in the United States, according to a special report in the widely read industry newsletter Inside Research. Between 2000 and 2005, Knowledge Networks grew 269% -- greater than five times the industry average of 54% -- reaching a revenue total of $31.4 million in 2005.

"Our growth is testament to the value our clients place on reliable information that speaks directly to their most important strategic and tactical marketing questions," said Simon Kooyman, Chief Executive Officer of Knowledge Networks. "KN is meeting the marketplace's need for excellence in both business issue expertise and data accuracy. We see this growth milestone as a logical step toward KN fulfilling its full potential by delivering insights with business value to clients, developing cutting-edge marketing research approaches, and providing first-in-class client service."

Founded in 1998, Knowledge Networks has become the #24 market research firm (by revenue) in the U.S., according to this year's Honomichl Top 50 ranking of domestic research companies. Its unique resources include the only projectable Web-based consumer panel.

Kooyman, who recently joined KN, brings a track record of exceptional growth from his previous work at Ipsos North America, where he guided the company to industry-leading financial performance, and at VNU's Entertainment Information Group.

The Inside Research report reflects the U.S. growth of market research services; to be included, companies had to have posted at least $5 million in market research revenue in 2000.

Knowledge Networks delivers quality you can use -- superior methodologies, design, and analysis that give you an edge when it comes to understanding consumers and making business decisions. The company leverages its expertise in brands, media, advertising, and analytics to provide insights that speak directly to clients' most important marketing issues. In addition, Knowledge Networks has built a substantial practice in government and academic research, an area notable for its rigorous methodology standards.
