Dippin' Dots(R) Opens Sixth Store in California This Year

CORONA, Calif., July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- First time business owners Damion and Sheryl Bendaw are celebrating the opening of their Corona Dippin' Dots store this weekend. The Corona location marks the sixth Dippin' Dots store opening in California this year.

The Corona store, located at Corona Lane Shopping Center, will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, July 15 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Activities will include contests, free ice cream samples and a live radio remote with 99.1 FM, KGGI.
The Corona location will feature more than a dozen flavors of Dippin' Dots ice cream, sherbet, yogurt and ice. In addition, the new store offers Dot Delicacies, a product line that includes Dippin' Dots ice cream cakes and Dotwich ice cream sandwiches.
Though Dippin' Dots is a new venture for the Bendaws, they have no plans of stopping at just one location. Dippin' Dots fans can look for another Dippin' Dots location to open soon in Mira Loma.
Dippin' Dots are tiny, cryogenically frozen beads of ice cream, yogurt, sherbet and flavored ice. Invented in 1988 by microbiologist and entrepreneur Curt Jones, Dippin' Dots offers more than 20 different flavors, plus seasonal flavors. The company's administrative and production headquarters are located in Paducah, Kentucky. Dippin' Dots are sold more than 250 retail locations and thousands of entertainment venues and special events nationwide. The company's Global division oversees licensees in nine countries.
