Atrion Networking Receives Cisco IP Telephony Certification; Atrion Increases Support of Cisco Unified Communications System; Joins Elite Cisco Partner Voice Service Offering Program

Atrion Networking Corporation, one of New England's largest IT services company since 1987, announced today that it received Cisco certification to join the Cisco Partner Voice Service Offering (PVSO) program. Atrion Networking helps organizations such as Johnson & Wales, Roger Williams College, KB Toys and Polaroid, to "fuse" their business with technology, focusing on providing leading-edge IT services such as networking, security, Wi-Fi networks, help desk, managed services, VoIP and other IP telephony services. Atrion was subjected to an intensive application screening and audit process demanded of service providers who apply to become a select Cisco Partner with the PVSO designation.
The Cisco PVSO certification allows Atrion, a current Cisco Gold Partner, to design, implement and support a family of Cisco telephony products known as the Cisco Unified Communications System. The System securely integrates voice, video, and other collaborative data applications into intelligent network communications solutions. This system, which includes IP telephony, unified communications, rich-media conferencing, IP video broadcasting, and customer contact solutions, takes full advantage of the power, resiliency, and flexibility of an IP network.
"We are pleased and honored to receive Cisco PVSO certification," said Paul Cronin Atrion's Vice President of Customer Service. "This support program will allow Atrion to now build additional services into our MAXTime and Sentinel support programs. This further differentiates Atrion from other Cisco Unified Communication Certified Partners due to our ability to deliver quality support after the implementation process. This specialization tells our clients and prospects that we know IP telephony and IP communications inside out. We can plan, design, implement, optimize and support IP telephony for our customers."
