Rapid Link, Inc. (OTCBB: RPID), one of the leading providers of Internet Phone services to niche markets, today announced the beginning of its "Professional Athlete" marketing campaign, which is being launched through Standard Advisors. Standard Advisors works with professional athletes, providing personal financial management and investment advice to over 100 major athletes. The Marketing Agreement will use these athletes to endorse Rapid Link's Internet Phone Service offering into select niche markets.
Rapid Link believes that sports enthusiasts have strong loyalties to their local professional athletes. This new campaign will be launched on a market by market approach. The initial market launch is in Detroit and features Jason Woolley, a 15-year NHL Veteran and star of the Detroit Red Wings. Phil Kenner, the owner of Standard Advisors, commented, "I am extremely excited about this strategy, because the endorsement can be more effective in the athlete's home market, where he/she is a local hero.""I love Detroit, it's a great city, and I am pleased to help my fans save money with Rapid Link's Internet Phone Service," stated Jason Woolley.
"I grew up in the area and know the 'Motor City' fans are hard working people and believe they will enjoy saving up to 40% over traditional phone company rates," commented David Hess, President of Rapid Link. Customers can go to www.rapidlinkpro.com to sign up and receive a free autographed hockey puck from NHL Star Defensemen Jason Woolley for every sign up.
