ValueClick's AdWare Announces Browser-Based NETWORK Solution; Agencies Can Now Manage National TV Media Buys from Any Location and at Any Time

Posted on: Monday, 30 June 2003, 06:00 CDT

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 30, 2003--ValueClick, Inc.'s (Nasdaq:VCLK) AdWare Systems subsidiary, a leading provider of advertising agency, media and content management solutions, today announced the release of the browser-based version of its NETWORK product for managing network, national cable and syndicated television media purchases. Through this enhanced version of NETWORK, users now have the flexibility of managing their national TV advertising buys from any location and at any time, on any computer with Web access.

With today's announcement of NETWORK's enhancements, AdWare now offers a complete, browser-based Media Management solution suite -- including NETWORK, BROADCAST for local media buys, and PRINT for print and outdoor media buys. This achievement makes AdWare the only major provider of a Web-based suite of media buying solutions that encompasses all offline media channels.

Key features of the enhanced AdWare NETWORK product include:

-- Access NETWORK Anywhere, at Any Time: Through NETWORK's

browser-based interface, users now have the flexibility and

convenience of accessing NETWORK from any computer with Web

access, regardless of location or time of day.

-- Platform Independence: NETWORK users can now work from any

Internet-ready computer - PC or Mac - without the need for

mainframe emulation software.

-- Faster Analysis of National TV Advertising Packages: NETWORK

now includes a "pre-buy" feature that enables media buyers to

analyze network TV advertising packages online, without having

to download ratings and other analytical information. Through

the pre-buy feature, media buyers can run "what-if" scenarios

to assess the suitability of advertising packages for their

campaigns, and then purchase the packages that best fit their

needs with an additional few clicks.

"With this enhancement of NETWORK, AdWare continues to lead the industry in solutions that are both powerful and easy to use," said Bill Hewitt, general manager of AdWare Systems. "Our browser-based Media Management solution suite lets our customers fulfill their media purchases and manage the associated scheduling, tracking, analysis, billing, and payment functions from any Web-enabled computer, regardless of location or time. The enhanced NETWORK solution is yet another example of AdWare helping agencies perform at a higher level."
