Arrow Electronics Expands Relationship With Computer Associates, Named Exclusive Distributor For Entire eTrust Suite Of Products

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 25, 2003--Enterprise Storage Solutions (ESS), a division of the North American Computer Products group of Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: ARW), announced today an expansion of Arrow's existing relationship with Computer Associates International (CA), Islandia, N.Y.

The expanded agreement allows Arrow to distribute CA's complete family of eTrust security solutions and names Arrow the exclusive distributor of CA's enterprise security and storage software suites for the U.S. and Canada.

Computer Associates' eTrust solutions help resellers protect and manage a customer's entire enterprise environment. Products in the eTrust family are grouped into three solution sets: Identity Management, Access Management and Threat Management, each reporting to a centralized Security Command Center that makes it easy for system administrators to not only collect, but also to analyze and interpret their organization's computing security data.

Today's announcement marks a significant expansion of Arrow's existing relationship with Computer Associates. Previously, ESS sold CA's BrightStor storage management solutions and Arrow's MOCA Division sold CA's eTrust products on a limited basis. Under the expanded agreement, Arrow now becomes CA's exclusive eTrust and BrightStor distributor, offering CA's entire suite of enterprise security and storage solutions.

Computer Associates' eTrust products are now operating in Arrow's Universal Enterprise Storage Labs in Atlanta and Minneapolis which can be accessed from any customer location via Arrow's online Lab Bridge program. In addition, Arrow lab engineers are trained on CA's eTrust suite and will be on-hand in the labs or on-line to assist resellers.

Arrow's unique storage labs allow solution providers the ability to replicate the end customers' IT environment, providing proof-of-concept testing and demonstrations to solve business challenges on product capabilities, helping the customer make the best purchasing decision for their business.
