Sprint Unveils Plans for Mobile Banking Services Solution

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Sprint plans to make it easier and more cost effective for financial institutions to provide banking services to small and independent business owners with Sprint Mobile Loan Officer. The new solution will allow bank employees to process loans, establish accounts, transfer funds and complete other financial transactions using wireless handheld devices certified to operate on the enhanced Sprint Nationwide PCS Network, including the popular Sprint PCS Vision(SM) Smart Device Treo(TM) 600 by palmOne(TM). Sprint will make this solution available through Sprint business sales channels early this summer.
