SAN MATEO, Calif., May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Kagoor Networks, a leading provider of session border control solutions, announced today that USA Datanet, one of the nation's fastest growing Voice-over-IP technology companies, has chosen Kagoor's VoiceFlow 1000 session border controller. USA Datanet is using the VoiceFlow 1000 to provide NAT traversal for its VoIP services.
NAT traversal permits VoIP calls to securely pass through firewalls at a customer site. USA Datanet is deploying the VoiceFlow 1000 in a fault tolerant configuration including dual systems for back up and call continuity in the event of a failure. Kagoor also is providing call detail records, which permits USA Datanet to verify billing accuracy.
Kagoor's VoiceFlow session border controllers enable USA Datanet to effortlessly provide broadband services to residences and businesses. With the VoiceFlow network-hosted NAT traversal application, USA Datanet can deliver VoIP service to its customers without adding additional premises equipment.
"USA Datanet is committed to delivering the most reliable long distance and VoIP services," said John S. Mercer, Chief Technology Officer of USA Datanet. "Kagoor helps us meet this commitment to our customers and at the same time, deliver our service with a most cost effective and simplified approach."
Kagoor's unique 3-Way Architecture provides the optimum platform for both peering and NAT traversal applications. In this deployment, Kagoor uses both Back-to-Back User Agent (B2BUA) and Proxy architectures to maximize functionality and interoperability, as well as minimize latency. VoiceFlow 1000 fully supports all major VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323, MGCP), and provides carriers with the most extensive vendor library of protocol extensions available.
